Orbitz Guarantees OrbitzSaver Hotel Rates Are Lowest On the Web

CHICAGO -- July 30, 2004 - Orbitz (Nasdaq: ORBZ), the site with the most travel options that makes it easy to find great deals, today announced a new rate guarantee on all OrbitzSaver hotels. Orbitz's new rate guarantee is the company's promise that OrbitzSaver hotels offer the lowest price on the web.

"OrbitzSaver hotel rates have always offered our customers the best value," said John Samuel, executive vice president of Consumer Travel at Orbitz. "Orbitz's new rate guarantee reinforces our ongoing commitment to provide travelers with the lowest possible prices on the most sought-after hotels."

If a customer finds a lower rate online for the same accommodations within 24 hours of booking an OrbitzSaver, Orbitz will refund the price difference. The refund is good for rates found on hotel web sites and other online travel agencies.

OrbitzSaver hotels provide rates that offer consumers sizable savings on hotel rooms. More than 16,500 hotels provide OrbitzSaver rates, including large chains, boutiques and resorts.

To inquire about a reimbursement, customers should submit an email request to OrbitzSaverGuarantee@orbitz.com with specifics about where online the lower rate was found.
