Orbitz Appoints Corporate Travel Industry Executive Steve Tracas President Of Orbitz For Business

Chicago, IL - June 3, 2004 - Online travel company Orbitz, Inc. (Nasdaq: ORBZ) today announced it has named seasoned travel industry executive Steve Tracas, 47, as president of Orbitz for Business™, the company's full service travel management program.

In this position, Tracas will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of Orbitz for Business including strategy, business development, technology and marketing, ensuring the continued growth of the company in the corporate travel segment. Tracas will report to Jeff Katz, Orbitz president and chief executive officer.

Prior to joining Orbitz, Tracas served as vice president of Sales and Marketing for US Airways where he led the team that developed usairways.com, was responsible for all corporate and agency sales, Global Distribution System (GDS) distribution, electronic commerce, and Global Cargo Sales and Operations. Tracas also held a number of management positions during his 19-year career with AMR Corp including positions with American Airlines and Sabre Group. Tracas served as managing director for Sabre Group, where he was responsible for GDS sales within the Western United States and the national account program.

Tracas holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Aeronautical Technology from Arizona State University in Tempe.

Rick Weber, vice president of Business Travel Service, will assume the newly created position of vice president of International Planning and Development, reporting directly to Katz.
