KILLEEN, Texas, March 14, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- Orbitz Worldwide Inc. and Aegis, a global outsourcing services provider, today announced plans to hire United States military spouses at the upcoming Hiring Our Heroes Military Spouse Event on Fort Hood, TX. The companies will be interviewing for a number of customer service representative positions at Club Hood on Wednesday, March 28, 2012, from 7 a.m. to noon. The two companies recently announced a business partnership to hire a contact center team operating out of the Aegis center in Killeen, TX, that will provide service solutions for Orbitz Worldwide customers.
The customer service positions are ideal for military spouses with excellent communication skills who would enjoy competitive pay, fun activities, and performance incentives. Qualified candidates may apply to fill current openings such as Travel Care Professionals, Supervisors and Managers, and Trainers.
In February 2012, Orbitz Worldwide committed to the First Lady's Joining Forces Veterans Hiring Initiative to give U.S. service members and their families the opportunities and support they have earned, pledging to hire over 50 veterans or military family members in 2012 through its call centers and at-home agent programs.
