Orbitz for Business and Travelport Sign Agreement with Alitalia Airlines for Discounted Corporate Customer Fares

Agreement marks second airline discount agreement signed by Orbitz for Business and Travelport in the last month; demonstrates value offered via the scale, relevance of Cendant

VANCOUVER, BC (May 2, 2005) - Orbitz for Business and Travelport, global leaders in corporate travel management and subsidiaries of Cendant Corporation's (NYSE: CD) Travel Distribution Services (TDS), today announced they have reached an agreement with Alitalia Airlines to offer corporate customers discounted fares for transatlantic flights originating in the United States. The announcement, made at the Association of Corporate Travel Executives' (ACTE) annual conference in Vancouver, BC, Canada, is the second such supplier agreement secured by Orbitz for Business and Travelport in the last month, highlighting their commitment to delivering affordable international fares to corporate clients.

Effective immediately, Alitalia Airlines is a preferred carrier for Orbitz for Business and Travelport and their special corporate rates will be delivered directly and seamlessly to all corporate customers using Orbitz for Business or Travelport's complete package of integrated online booking, global distribution service, automated fulfillment, and customer support. The agreement also marks the first mutual supplier relationship for Cendant Travel Distribution Services' expanded Corporate Travel Solutions team - now comprised of Travelport and Orbitz for Business as a result of Cendant's acquisition of Orbitz in late 2004.

"Alitalia is a leading carrier from the U.S. to European business centers, and as more of our clients become global companies requiring affordable access to locations all around the world, we are pleased to help them realize savings by offering the very best airlines at discounted rates," said Dean Sivley, chief product and marketing officer for Cendant Corporate Travel Solutions. "Given the size and scope of Cendant, this agreement also showcases the value many corporations and suppliers recognize in working with the largest players in travel."

"From an airline perspective, we highly value agreements that provide us with broad access to leading corporate customers worldwide," said Giulio Libutti, Alitalia's senior vice president for North America and Mexico." The global reach of Travelport and Orbitz for Business, backed by the buying power of Cendant, makes this agreement particularly beneficial for our airline."
