Business Traveler Safety: Orbitz for Business and Travelport Sign Agreement with International SOS

Agreement delivers the latest "value-added" service for Orbitz for Business and Travelport corporate travel customers

VANCOUVER, BC (May 3, 2005) - Orbitz for Business and Travelport, global leaders in corporate travel management and subsidiaries of Cendant Corporation's (NYSE: CD) Travel Distribution Services (TDS), today announced an agreement with top travel security services firm International SOS that increases corporations' ability to track and assist traveling employees. The announcement came as the Orbitz for Business and Travelport organization participated in the Association of Corporate Travel Executives' (ACTE) annual conference in Vancouver, BC, Canada.

Effective this month, Orbitz for Business and Travelport now offer corporate customers International SOS' best-in-class security and traveler assistance at a discounted rate. Because these features are integrated into Orbitz for Business and Travelport, they not only deliver high quality traveler support, but also efficient corporate management of traveler security. The agreement also marks the latest example of Orbitz for Business and Travelport adding features that go beyond booking and agency functionality to increase their value to corporations.

Specifically, the agreement includes International SOS travel intelligence, International SOS online traveler locator services, automated tracking tools and notifications, and International SOS medical and security assistance services. Using these tools, travel managers, security managers and corporate travelers all benefit by receiving helpful information on destinations such as country guides, security briefs, medical and business information, cultural briefs, and automated travel advisories that include current event notifications. Travel and security managers also have access to traveler locator tools to find and communicate with travelers worldwide - especially in emergency situations.

"As companies increasingly do more business internationally, enhancing the safety of employees traveling globally is more important than ever," said Dean Sivley, chief product and marketing officer for Orbitz for Business and Travelport. "Through our agreement with International SOS we now offer clients an integrated, easy to use service that enhances traveler security while enabling companies to better manage their travelers and travel program. This is a concrete example of our mission to provide more value to corporate customers by offering services beyond booking air, car and hotel to deliver more complete, more efficient products."

"By working with Travelport and Orbitz for Business, which offer the backing and global reach of Cendant, our medical, security, and travel assistance services will reach a larger number of travel and security managers. This will empower more corporate travelers to be better prepared and more productive while traveling abroad," said Kevin Morris, vice president of marketing for International SOS.
