Noteworthy highlights include:

  • Las Vegas, Seattle and Denver offer the best percentage savings during the 2010 Shoulder Season versus nightly rates experienced in 2008.
  • With slightly increasing hotel rates year-over-year in 2008 and 2009, Fort Lauderdale still boasts sub-100 dollar per night hotel rates along with Denver, Orlando and Las Vegas.
  • Following a slight $1 per night increase in hotel rates from 2008 to 2009, Honolulu hotel rates have increased by 26 percent in 2010 but still remain at an affordable average rate of $150 per night.
