Thailand: Last minute escape to Bangkok

The capital of Thailand, Bangkok is a bustling metropolis located on the Chao Phraya River. The city is currently rated the most popular tourist destination in Asia and its reputation stretches to cover fine cuisine, exquisite temples, world-class shopping and a great deal more.

At hand are the Grand Palace, formerly the residence of the King of Thailand, The Temple of the Reclining Buddha, which contains one of the world's largest images of Buddha, and the glorious Wat Arun, as well as hundreds of other Wats and temples.

The floating markets also offer a captivating spectacle for those visiting the city, allowing tourists to cruise the network of streams and rivers that flow through Bangkok in search of a bargain.

And now is offering a stay in the city for £51 a night.

Staying at the Tawana Hotel, visitors are right in the heart of the city's commercial district; at the centre of authentic Thai life. But being just a few minutes from the centrally located tourist attractions, Tawana offers a relaxing contrast to the frenetic city.

The price is valid until September 24th and is based on two people sharing a suite, featuring free Wi-Fi.

The Hotel Club website has more information and a host of other last minute deals.
