Orbitz for Business | Travelport Partners with GT3 for Integrated Ground Transportation Services

SAN DIEGO, CA (Aug. 16, 2005) – Finding reliable, timely and high quality ground transportation can be a laborious, unproductive and, often, frustrating experience for the business traveler.

Orbitz for Business | Travelport, the providers of choice in corporate travel management, and GT3 (Ground Travel Transportation Team), provider of one of the leading online business travel ground transportation reservation systems, announced an agreement to integrate online booking capabilities for ground transportation into Orbitz for Business and Travelport Web sites; allowing business travelers to arrange high quality, timely transportation online. The agreement was announced during the annual National Business Travel Association (NBTA) trade show and convention here today.

By using GT3's services within Orbitz for Business and Travelport, business travelers have access to their company's negotiated rates for more than 90 participating national and regional chauffeured care services including limousine, sedan, black car, van and bus transportation.

"We're proud to work with GT3 to provide business travelers efficient, high quality ground transportation options," said Dean Sivley, chief operating officer for Orbitz for Business | Travelport. "The agreement supports our commitment to provide our corporate travel customers the most complete and accessible travel content in the industry."

"The integration of the two systems will provide Orbitz for Business and Travelport users with the ability to book the "final mile" of their travel itineraries," said Gregg Tuccillo, president of the travel services division of GT3, "providing true "door-to-door" service capabilities in a single process. Having such prestigious portals like Orbitz and Travelport standardize their ground transportation booking process through GT3 is yet another validation of the value we bring to the travel and ground transportation industries."

The agreement with GT3 is the latest in a series of capabilities offered via Orbitz for Business | Travelport that specifically enhance the business traveler's experience. Other new capabilities that ensure comfort and productivity include Care Alerts that "push" itinerary updates and proactive re-bookings to travelers when flight cancellations or scheduling changes occur, , the Board Room Rates program that pre-screens and identifies hotels with business travel amenities, and a partnership that delivers international traveler tracking and emergency services.

"We believe the next wave of innovation in online corporate travel is new, automated services that specifically benefit the business traveler by delivering capabilities that address their real-world travel needs," said Sivley. "This approach increases traveler trust and satisfaction with online booking and, ultimately, translates into greater savings for their companies."
