Orbitz for Business and Travelport Sign Agreement with Lufthansa and Austrian Airlines for Discounted Corporate Fares

Deal is third such airline agreement secured by Orbitz for Business and Travelport for their customers in 2005

CHICAGO (June 27, 2005) - Orbitz for Business and Travelport, providers of market leading online corporate travel management solutions, today announced they have reached an agreement with Lufthansa that offers corporate customers discounted fares on Lufthansa and its partner, Austrian Airlines, for trips originating in the U.S.

Effective this month, Lufthansa and Austrian Airlines fares are discounted and delivered directly and seamlessly online to all U.S.-based corporate customers using either Orbitz for Business or Travelport, including larger companies who may not have an existing agreement with Lufthansa.

"Orbitz for Business and Travelport provide corporations and their travelers with easy-to-use, value-added services that really capture the needs of today's global business traveler," said Mathias Friess, Director of Passenger Sales, N.A. for Lufthansa. "Lufthansa looks forward to welcoming these passengers on board, where they can experience our own value-added services -- from all-business class, Executive Jet flights to FlyNet® - the first-ever, wireless Internet in-flight."

"Because Lufthansa is one of the world's leading European carriers both in terms of destinations and quality of service, we are extremely pleased to help our clients realize savings on international travel by offering Lufthansa and Austrian Airlines fares at a discount," said Dean Sivley, chief product and marketing office for Orbitz for Business and Travelport.

The arrangement is the third such airline discount announced by Orbitz for Business and Travelport this year, underscoring their commitment to delivering affordable international fares to corporate customers as well as the global scale and relevance offered by Cendant's Travel Distribution Services (TDS) Division.

"Whether a company seeks an easy, 'ready-to-go' solution like Orbitz for Business or highly configurable one for maximum policy control like Travelport, we can provide the right corporate travel solution for any company," said Sivley. "Because this diverse portfolio is attractive to the corporate marketplace, we are able to negotiate and deliver discounted fares with leading suppliers such as Lufthansa for our customers."
