Orbitz to Provide Private Label Service to Major International Chain's Resort Properties on

CHICAGO, Sept. 17, 2014 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Orbitz Partner Network, the private label division of Orbitz Worldwide (NYSE:OWW), announced today that it has launched a multi-year partnership with RIU Hotels & Resorts to power dynamic vacation package bookings on the internationally known hotel brand's website, The new private label site offers vacation packages to RIU's acclaimed properties in Mexico, Central America, and the Caribbean. The partnership enables RIU to leverage Orbitz Partner Network's leading technology platform, which provides exclusive vacation package capabilities to U.S. customers on a custom-built white label site.

The newly launched RIU site features a seamless user interface that retains the hotelier's unique branding and gives customers the ability to package any combination of air, hotel and car bookings across a number of form factors, including desktop and mobile web (the latter of which will be launched next month). Customers can book any of the 40 properties the company operates in the Americas, including its well-known All Inclusive resorts and Riu Plaza city hotels.
