New Partnership Provides Even More Brand Name Merchant Hotel Rates to Orbitz Customers
Chicago, IL – November 15, 2005 – Orbitz, the faster, easier way to find the trip you want, announced today that it has expanded its relationship with Marriott International, Inc. to provide Orbitz.com customers with merchant hotel rates at Marriott hotels and resorts around the world. "Our unmatched focus on customer satisfaction, as recognized recently by J.D. Power and Associates, coupled with our expanded distribution relationship with Marriott, gives our customers both excellent value at fantastic properties and a hotel booking experience that surpasses the competition."
"Marriott has had a strong relationship with Orbitz, and expanding the scope of this relationship, provides Marriott hotels with improved access to a growing and valuable base of leisure travel customers," added Shafiq Khan, senior vice president, eCommerce, Marriott International.
These new Marriott rates add to Orbitz' existing wide selection of merchant and published rates at more than 50,000 independent and brand name chains worldwide.
